Prayers for Shoaib Akhtar before surgery
Shoaib Akhtar, former fast bowler of the national cricket team, has appealed to fans for prayers ahead of his knee surgery.
Former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, who is currently undergoing surgery in Australia, posted a video message from his hospital bed on Twitter.
Shoaib Akhtar said I am ready for the last knee surgery.
He said that I have already had 5 operations but still I would like to say that you should pray for me.
Shoaib Akhtar says I have played for Pakistan as a bowler which I am proud of but this operation is necessary for me.
He adds that it may take me at least 2 to 3 weeks for the pain to go away and for me to recover.
The former speedster also said that prayers are urgently needed as the 8-hour surgery will take place.
