My Favourite Book (Holy Quran

 My Favourite Book

(Holy Quran)

"
The Holy Qur'an is the greatest book of knowledge and instruction for all mankind and for all time."

The Holy Quran is my favorite book. It provides us with the message of Allah. He has been guiding humanity for more than thirteen centuries. It was revealed to Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him), the last prophet, in the 7th century, valid until the world ceases to exist.

Of all the books I have read, I like the Koran the most. It is the holy book of Muslims, but it is a guide for all mankind. Muslim means a person who believes in the final revelation i.e. Quran of ALLAH S.W.T. (SUBHAN-WA-TALA) and believe in the final messenger of Prophet Mohammad Sallala Wa Alehi Wasallam. We add Sallalaho Wa Alehi Wasallam whenever we Muslims name our beloved prophet.  Sallalaho Wa Alehi Wasallam is a very short form of DAROOD.

The Holy Quran is written in the purest and most perfect form of Arabic. It has about 77,640 words and is divided into chapters and verses. The chapters are called surahs, of which there are a total of 114. The opening chapter of the Koran is very short, it has six lines. We Muslims repeat it several times a day and it is called Fatiha, that is, the preface or introduction. It immediately affects the feelings of a true Muslim. He cannot do anything evil or wrong if he understands its meaning.

It is the most read book in the world of all time. It is the only book which is completely memorized by millions of Muslims called (Hafiz).

The book shows the five main pillars of following Islam; which is Tauheed, Namaj, Roja, Jakat, Haj. It is a book that is revealed through the most important angel (Gibreel Alehisslam) through the mouth of Prophet Mohammad Sallala Wa Alehi Wasallam. He says that the Almighty sent many prophets; one lakh twenty four thousand approximately. The first prophet among them was Adam Alehi Assalam and the last prophet was Muhammad. It also confirms that no more messenger will come to earth.

Islam' means obedience to the will of Allah. The will of Allah is expressed in the Qur'an, clearly and completely. Its basis is Islamic law. Islamic law covers our private life in terms of our food, clothing, marriage, prayers, etc. It also tells us clearly about our public life regarding the duties of government and our duties towards society. For example, it explains the rules regarding zakat. It explains how we can create a society where everyone helps each other and no one hurts anyone - a society based on the principles of honesty, justice and fair play.

If we want to live perfectly on earth and make our future (otherworldly) life clear, we should follow the Holy Quran as best we can. We should strive to live nobly and honorably as the Qur'an tells us.

It advocates eternal and endless life after death. This life is so short compared to the life after death that it can be compared to the blink of an eye. There is not a single stone left unturned in the Qur'an regarding the principles of life. This means it is a complete manual. You can ask any question in your mind and try to find the answer in the Quran, I am sure you will definitely find it. If one cannot find it, please contact the Quran experts in the Masjid. It is a complete guide for all mankind in terms of justice, honesty, truthfulness, piety, equality, freedom, devotion etc. I apologize to Allah for any mistake in this essay.
